Someone yesterday mentioned to give Curtis Wiseman an email and he could
help with finding out what number your 93 LE (black & red) is.

Curtis gave me the number to Mazda Customer Relations (800-222-5500).  Some
have struck out when calling MCR, because the person at the other end of the
telephone is as dumb as sticks (an old neighbor gave me that one!).  I got a
smart one.  I don't remember her name, but she took my VIN and called me
back with the edition number.  She says they have a binder their with this
information because they know that us Miata drivers are a little nutso.

I own #554 of 1500!  As you can see in my sig line, it will be going to my
father soon.  He couldn't be more excited!

Apparently the last four digits of the VIN is what translates into the
edition number.  For any who want to try to decipher, my last four are: 9493

I hope this helps in anyone's quest to find out the edition of their 93 LE.
