Subject:99 vs 97 hard top

I have a 99 with a hard top, I parked it next to a 97 with a hard top and I
swear the two tops are EXACTLY the same.  (Except mine has a little bulge
in the back near the base of the hard top, I hear other 99 owners have the
same issue).  When I was at the dealer the box that my hard top came in
said 98 on it and the parts guy said it was the newest date they had for
the hard top.  So I am assuming the 97 and 99 hard tops are exactly the
same.  Am I wrong?
