And that is exactly what I've done. Went to Target and purchased a small
12v compressor and a compact camera bag. Picked a bag that was just a
little bit bigger than the compressor to leave room for a couple of tools
and my pressure gauge. The bag has a zipper pocket on the front into which
I stuffed a couple tubes of rubber cement, various sized tire plugs, and
the tire plug tools. The entire thing measures maybe 8"x7"x4" and it fits
nicely shoved a bit down the tunnel behind where the spare USED to be.
Total cost: About $35.00 LOTS more room in the trunk!
Of course, if I ever have to use it, I will get the damaged tire properly
patched when I first get the chance. (Plugs are not recommended for
long-term repair.)
