At 5'10" the visors really interfered with my vision, so they came off.
I used a dark tint window film along the top of my windshield which still
allows me to see traffic lights and yet controls late afternoon and early
morning sun glare.
The Knobmeister little covers hide the uglies, and whatever extra sun glare
might overcome the tinted strip is easily tamed by my sunglasses and a visored
cap (never had it fly off my head). My seat cushion has also been lowered
enough to give me good clearance under the rollbar and to get a clear view of
the instrument panel in spite of the smaller Momo wheel.
I use a harness and belt and hope that it will keep my noggin from kissing the
A pillar in case of an unfortunate miscalculation on my part. The harness/belt
very secure and comfy, but a pain in the tafanari to get used to at first,
especially for burger runs. By now it has become a habit and is no problem at
all.
The ease of adapting the MX-5 to one's personal needs is one of the wonderful
things about the car.
Bright Blessings
