Nicely said..and I've been there. I had a student who had to leave at lunch
on the second day last month and it gave me the opportunity for a nice,
comfortable four hour ride back to Orlando.
However, something it's taken me a while to get through my grey hair, is that
over a two day driver education, that it's okay to plan ahead. As an
example:
1st day
1st session: Oh, so this is a car and this is a track...easy does it, what
lines are working?
2nd session: What did I learn from the first session? Now how are the tires
talking to me?
3rd session: This is the one where we experience some speed and application.
4th session: Running at 80-85% but not really driving any slower..work on
perfection....it's what you bring to the track tomorrow.
2nd day
1st session: Was this the car and track I was at just yesterday?
2nd session: Oh yea, I remember.. this feels good...be precise and fast.
3rd session: Let's try a different line on a couple of
corners...precise...hey that's a faster way through the corner and the car
felt great!
4th session: This is the one I get to remember until I get back again.
Nothing dumb..precision...I own this track, it wants me to come drive it
again.
Notice no place in there did I reference race, four wheel drifts, the
opponent
or much about lap times. But it's all there, it's just under control and
I'm
working at not only being the fastest driver out there but the best. Nothing
to prove to anyone except me, my car and the track.
And don't forget to drink tons of water! You want that system to be flushing
before you start your first session and keep on flushing. It's amazing how
more alert you are able to be and how tired you DON't get.
Enough of my rambling.. just thought some might be interested.

* Bob,
Very nicely put...and I also agree with your sentiments.....2 days allow you
to learn the track et al on the first day..get things sorted out, learn the
lines etc.. the 2nd day, after learning the track makes for more fun...to
purely drive!!!....
Thanks for expressing your sentiments!!!
