fastened tightly) they should stand some snow and ice. But I have to

time!

Anyway, have you had any rust-related problems taking the guards on and
off? I would plan on using Tectyl rust-proofing and never remove the
guards to insure that my car won't rust. Up here they put salt on the
streets in icy conditions.
