You'll see an ad for a new dealership in Miata Magazine when it goes to
press in the next couple of days.  One of the items advertised is the
hardtop.  The '99 hardtop is priced at $80 more than the '90-97 version.
My guess was that the increased price was due to the inclusion of
Frankenstein bolts.

Why would Mazda go to the effort of making subtle changes to the hardtop
and not restyle it to match the new car?
