They are reusable.  Gently pry the center part out as you unscrew it with an
electric screwdriver.  Or, failing that, just gently pry the center part out.
Then gently pry out the out part.

Using your finger nails, gently pry the center part out as far as it will come.
Then gently pry out the out part.
