I've used nylon washers on OTMs (various Hondas). They work fine one you
remember to throw the torque specs out the window and tighten by feel and
sight. You want to slightly deform the washer to get a good seal, but if
you try to hit the torque spec for a non-nylon washer it'll squirt out one
side and be useless.
