Those of you interested in the philosophy of colors might want to check
out this URL from the Nando Times for an interesting mix of science and
mythology. Blue moon ....no moon ...another blue moon ...welcome to

But there still are those looking to the sky for a sign of things to
come, and that includes the Color Marketing
Group, a non-profit group of 1,500 color designers. They predict the
next hot color, which will coat everything
from kitchen floors to cashmere sweaters to BMWs, is blue. 

One of the shades to come out will be Blue Moon, a watercolor blue. It's
all part of that next millennium thing,
says Melanie Wood, past president of the group. The color derives from
the time change, which means both
looking back and looking forward, which is like "moving into the Space
Age, which means you look upward at
the sky," she says. "Something big is happening."
