Don't forget Vanishing Point.  It's pretty far out there (I'm not into
hippie stuff), but driving scenes are nice.  Too bad about the Jaguar.  What
other movies from that time period showed Mopar Muscle?  I know that
Phantasm II had a Mopar car but that's recent.  


I have GOT to see the Italian Job sometime.
