Hello-
I'm new to the mailing list, so pardon me butting right in here, but I
have a lot of catching up to do if I'm ever to get on the top poster list.
=)
I have a 1990 MX-5 with 48K miles. Right now it is completely stock and is
my everyday driver. It will remain my everyday driver for at least another
year. When I'm able to get another everyday car I'd like to keep the Miata
as an autocross only vehicle. I've never done any type of structured racing
so I have a lot to learn in the next year or so.
What I'm looking for right now are some hints, tips and suggestions for
things that I can upgrade performance wise. I would obviously like a bit
more pep in my step even in everyday driving situations, but I don't want to
add something to enhance that if it wont also be ideal in an autocross
environment.
So if any of you racing gurus out there have some suggestions as to what
things to add first to get the most bang for the buck, that will also be
good for autocross I would really appreciate it. I'm sure that this has been
asked before and that the opinions are as varied as the different religions,
so if there are some webpages that I could go read through I'd be happy to
do that as well. In fact, if you know of any good Miata related autocross
pages, please send them my way.
Thanks!
Bryan Foster
