I replaced the factory bulbs in my '99 a while back. I put in the PIAA
Superwhite. After a short period of time the low beam on the driver's side
burned out. I put the factory bulbs back in. They really aren't that
effective, so I bought another set of PIAA, a different wattage, from a
different vendor. After a couple of weeks the low beam on the driver's side
burned out again. Once again I put the factory bulbs back in. Both times I
was very careful not to touch the bulb when installing it.
Does this indicate something I can trace or fix, or should I try a bulb from
a different manufacturer? The box says H4. Will any H4 replacement bulb
work? Do any vendors have a drastically better price than others?
Thanks
Mike
