I am contemplating relocating to the bay area and would be working in Menlo
Park  (1605 O Brien Dr).  Any advice on where to live?  I would appreciate
recommendations for quiet, safe areas within 30 minutes commute time.  I
would rent (apt. ot townhouse with 2 bed 2 bath and at least a one car
garage setup) for first year and possibly buy after that.  Any idea on rent
ranges for such a setup?

I've heard BAMA is a great bunch of folks :)

What is the situation on registering cars from out of state for Calif.?  Any
problems with supercharged cars passing smog checks?  Is the fuel as bad as
some have claimed?  FYI, I have a '93 LE with a Sebring set at 6 degrees and
currently running 92 octane with no problems here in the Metro Phoenix area.
