while I agree with Tom's sentiment that it's not fair to restrict
someone else's preference of vehicles based upon my (or your or
whomevers) personal needs/wants, I simply can't reconcile the fact that,

generally speaking, my driving a small car does nothing to impeded your
(the figurative "you") safety, whereas your (again the figurative "you")

SUV directly endangers me and, well, anyone else not driving a big
behemoth, simply by obstructing line of sight.

as for other dangers -- phones, doughnuts, whatever, I'm not at all
convinced that driver inanity is lmited to a certain class of vehicles.
