My car was delivered (used) like that.

I have not replaced it yet. I am looking for a nice rubber 3"
figurine of Kenny (from SP). Going to drill a hole in the bottom,
and superglue it to the dip stick.

Glad to hear if my plan fails, a replacement is only about $8 USD :)

I would not worry about your heavy handed-ness (is that a word?). You
can afford to be in this case...
