Subject:Oven Cleaner to clean wheels(was 90-93 Wheel cleaning for those tough, used car stains

Do NOT use oven cleaner to clean your wheels.  It eats away at
aluminum!!!  I have been using oven cleaner to clean the annodizing off
aluminum parts for my mountain bike.  That works great, but all it does
is disssolve the top layer of aluminum.  This is probably not the
desired effect for your wheels.
