This Sunday and every 1st Sunday in April is British Bike day where a bunch of
motorcyclists with Norton, ASU, Triumphs, Matchless, BWM's, basically anything
you got, get together and ride to the top of Mt. Tamalpais in Marin County. I
having been doing this ride since I got my first bike back several years ago.
No that I no longer have a motorcicle I will got in the toasty, leather
trimmed, four wheeled miatacicle to join the other motorheads on top of Tam to
watch the sunrise. It is always an awesome sight to see 300+ new and old
motorbikes on top of the mountain. Watching the string of lights wind of the
mountain is also cool. The park ranger charge around $5 at the entrance to the
parking lot at the top, and plan on dressing warmly. People usually start
migrating up the hill around 4:30am, so if are feeling a little groggy, just
drop the top. If you want to got me at the Arco at Tam Junction in Tam Valley,
the biggest intersection in the area. See ya there
