Fair enough, but IIRC, there was much ado about the fact that until recently
OPEC had been deliberately overproducing and flooding the market to lower
prices and increase dependance to their product.  I dunno -- either theory
could be right or wrong, I just know that no matter how rich they get off of
us today, eventually there's gonna be some sad-sack OPEC countries floating
around when the oil runs out, but I for one do not want to encourage the
depletion any more than necessary.
