I've used do-it-yourself kits (available at most auto-part stores) that
work like this with good results. The shops use a similar technique.
The kit only works on certain types of cracks and is completely useless
for others. The kit comes with pictures of the types of cracks it can
fix, and a plastic syringe to force the goop into the crack.
