Smartass. <grin> Actually, the May Laguna Seca date is shaky timing
for a bunch of reasons, mainly that it's three weeks before our Alaska
cruise. I'll be in a tizzy of planning and packing, and I REALLY don't
want to chance getting an owie before the cruise. Besides, I was just
at Thunderhill last weekend, and LS2 was just last November. I'll wait
until you magically come up with a September or October LS date...I know
I can count on you!
I had a terrific time at Thunderhill and figured out what my spinout
problem at LS was...my tires had too much air in them. Wendy drifts
happily in her P700Z's at 35# psi warm, but they break away too suddenly
anywhere above 38#. Whew!! Finally got my confidence back. Tire
pressure does make a HUGE difference! I even smoothed out the harsh
ride by lowering the pressure to 28# on Monday...wish I had discovered
that before Kevin's poor kidneys had to make the trip to Fresno and back
(at 32#) for the poker run!
Take care and have fun,
Jeannie
P.S. This was originally a reply just to Aaron, but I figured the list
might be interested in the tire pressure thing.
