John, This must be a Long Island thing because I am frequently 
challenged by minivans at traffic lights.  Even more frequently (and 
more scary) is I find when I am on the Southern State Parkway and I pass 
a minivan the driver will nearly kill himself (and possibly his children 
if they happen to be in the car) trying to catch up with my Miata.

I thought I was being paranoid until I pointed it out to my girlfriend 
and she confirmed my observation of this phenomenon. Maybe they are just 
trying to get a better look at my girlfriend :)
