Anyone out there have any experience with the Sony Minidisc format?

I was looking into the Minidisc changer for my M2.  Small, shockproof, md
text and a ton of other features makes it look like the perfect match for
our miniature trunks.  Anyone out there have this changer?  I was planning
on purchasing the Minidisc changer and a portable recorder (MZ-R55) to make
recordings.

Minidisc...  Pros?  Cons?
