A brand new silver Z3 with a hardtop, SCCA  trunk kit {handling package - 
springs
shocks swaybars] wearing 225x50x16 Hoosiers and displaying T. C. Kline decals 
{usually the sign of a well prepared car] showed up at the National+Enduro 
Series weekend 5-1+2 qualifying 2nd in SSB in both the National to a 99 SPORT 
and in the ENDURO to "CHAMP" a 94 "R" & defending Series Champion. Needless 
to say after
winning 14 series championships and 4x 24 hours of Moroso + 3 enduro 
victories so far in 1999, and after one hundred and twenty-three miles a 
mandatory pit stop and 5 lead changes in the last 2 laps, "CHAMP" still is. 
Headed home after the Enduro Sat. to pack for Dallas so don't know Results of 
National but if my 128  horsepower car wearing Kumho rain tires {cold & 
cloudy but no rain] can beat him then the 99 Sport in a 12 lap race certainly 
will! Perhaps thats why GRASSROOTS MAGAZINE picked the 94 "R" as a future 
classic. Not that it's better than other miatas, just very very special !
