It was to me, but then I've always wanted to have a sports car with world
class handling.  As others have mentioned, you could take a miata with the
luxury bits and improve the suspension though.  Racing Beat has tuned the
first gen miata to get over 1.1g!

The only power accessory that I couldn't live without was the antenna, and I
just oredered the part & put it in myself.
