would be a
good one to color. How easy does that come off? Also, i might paint the
border between the speedometer etc, so i have to take the whole unit off, i
presume. I see screw underneath that gauge round thing (sorry for the
terminology) So, anyone that has replaced their gauge faces, could you
instruct me how to get to where i can paint, not the gauges, but the areas
between them? Thanks! Taking stuff apart is fun!...........

Need to remove the entire dash to get th strip out.....is only a little
busy work !! To get to the meter/gauge assembly need to remove the bottom
plate under the steering wheel shaft, couple more bolts to lower the
steering shaft, then start having fun taking more stuff apart. Surprise!!
The area you want to get into is inside a sealed plastic unit. Will need
to carefully pry the unit apart to do a neat painting job inside.
