Miata Mailing List: May 1999, Message #237

     I have an open ticket/opening/whatever for Miata '99.  I already 
spoke with Marsha in Registration so I know it's OK to contact you 
about this.  There isn't a waiting list.  
     I bought the $70 companion spot many months ago in case I had a 
girlfriend at this time.  No such luck.  I recently thought I might 
have a date to this big dance but we haven't been able to get 
together yet.  That's why I waited so long to post this.  
     Anyone want to be my girlfriend?  ;-)  I know that Brandi in Big 
D wanted a spot.  I just re-read her message and will cc this to her.
     When I find someone to take the spot, I guess I'll call Marsha 
and tell her their identity.  I'm not a greedy person, but I do think 
that compensation for the $70 is justified.  That sure beats my $225 
entry.  But I'll keep the Miata when I win it.  :-)

388-5610.  I should be in the office by 8 AM central time Monday.  
Well, maybe 8:10.  :-)  
     Email is nice, but phone calls are really needed due to the lack 
of time.  I will follow a regular 8-5ish schedule Monday and 
Tuesday.  On Wednesday, I'm off to Dyno Day III and I may not return 
home so please call Monday or Tuesday.
     Marsha told me that rooms in the hotel are booked for Thursday.  
I think they have vacancies the other days.  I'm 99% sure I booked a 
single bed room.
