  No, but I always thought it would have been a good configuration for a 
Miata -- needs a bit more rear mass bias in my opinion.  Actually the rear 
axle joints ARE CV joints.  It's got everything to do with axle, and nothing 
to do with trans.  Whether they're on a Porsche, a Hyundai, or a backhoe -- 
same thing.
