D40 M2s were replaced by SP8000s. They're similarly biased toward summer
(or year-round Florida) use, but are somewhat softer at the limit with much
better wet performance. They lie perhaps midway between the old hard-ass
Dunlop D4s and family friendly Michelin XGTs.
Foureagles
