I do a fair amount of track events and wanted to go stiffer on the
springs, mainly. The height adjustability (and opportunity to adjust
corner weights) is nice too. The FM springs were very nice, I had them
a long time and was happy with them. By now they're starting to show
some age (sagging), and combined with the two blown Illuminas, it was
as good an excuse as any to move up to the next level..
