Before you go through all of the trouble of doing gauge
faces, take a color print of anything and leave it out in
the sun for a week. Bet you change your mind about doing
gauge faces.

Subject: DIY gauge faces

hey all,

I have a good idea I want to try, and I want to know if
anyone has tried
this already. What I want to do is make my own gauge faces.
My plan is to
scan the old faces into the computer, change the color, and
then print them
out on a color laser printer using transparency sheets. Has
anyone done
this? Are there any tips, and if someone already has the
scans, could you
send them to me? I have a 91 "B" package.

thanks,
