IMHO, I think that the difference in prices (which are a real shocker!)
between 5.0L after market parts and Miata after market parts has more to due
with the total number of enthusiasts that are purchasing the parts than the
total number of cars produced.  Where it is easy to find a stock Miata, it
is hard to find a stock 5.0L (not impossible though).
