Subject:Protecting 10AE Synthesuede?

Anyone have suggestions about treating or cleaning the synthetic suede on
the 10AE seats?  I ordered a can of that 303 protectant but it says not to
use on synthetic suede.  I'm really nervous about the suede getting stained.
Would plain old Scotchguard work?  Any help appreciated.
