John is correct, the sound with subs (unless sealed sorta like the
clearwaters isn't that great), and you can fit 8" subs (I have)or speakers
there. Were I to do it again, I would either mounth them at a 45degree
angle or subs cut into the bottom of the shelf hitting the back of the seat.
