I've seen an aftermarket protective clear cover for the '99 headlights
but wonder if anyone knows if a smoked or dark tinted full cover has yet
been produced by any aftermarket outfit.

Were I ever to swap my '97 for an M2, the availability of such covers
would go a long way to determine whether I'd select a dark colored car.
(I think smoked shields over the proportionately large headlights would
improve the front-end appearance of the car considerably.)
