I saw what I consider a slick setup at the Gap about a month ago although I
can't remember who's car it was on.  He had cut a piece of plywood to fit in
the area directly behind the seats so as to blend with the interior and
braced it to sit at about a 45 degree angle from behind the seats toward the
back of the car.  He then padded it and covered it with interior matching
material,  mounting two large (6x9?) coaxial speakers on it.  He attached
enough speaker wire so it could be lifted up while the boot was installed
then re seated.  I was unique and easily used both top up and down.  It
could also be easily removed should the space be needed.  I plan to do this
in the future.  Just an idea and as I say it's not mine.  If it belongs to
someone reading this my apologies for not remembering.your name or giving
you specific credit.
