If it's the first time you've had them out, they need lubrication at the
very least :)  Once you've got the car jacked up with the wheels off,
you've done the hardest part of the work.  IIRC, the process is:

- remove the dust cap over the adjustment bol
- back off the adjuster
- undo the sliding bolt and pull it out.
- lubricate with brake lube and reassemble.

You can also do the other one, but it's probably in better shape.
