My first new car was a 86 Honda CRX Si - Black. I lived near the beach at
the time, and the car was parked outside all of the time. I bought a car
cover, used it 90% if the time, and kept the car waxed. It always looked
great. If you are really serious about keeping the car looking its best, I
would get a quality cover and use it, and keep the car waxed. The benefit
of the cover depends partly on the climate, and is probably incremmental,
but I would do both.

Subject: car cover
I recently purchased a 96 miata and it is to be my everyday driver. The
paint job is in great shape but my dilema is should I invest in a car
cover? Has anyone bought one for an everyday driver and thought it was
too much trouble to take on and off everyday? The car will be parked
outside all the time. Will waxing it more frequently be enough?
