The evolution orange certainly is an interesting color. I love it.
Unfortunately, my wife does not. (sigh)
The 500,000th Miata (in evolution orange, or evolution gold, depending on
the source) was at Miata World in Dallas. I saw it inside the garages near
vendor's alley. Maybe it was the lighting, but I thought it had more of a
bronze look to it, but I never saw it out in natural sunlight. Pictures
from Japanese magazines seem to show a more orange color outdoors, but
pictures don't always bring out the true colors of some things.
I would love to see it offered as a color option for the '00 model. Of
course, I'd like to see a
laser-guided-missile-for-people-who-cut-over-in-front-of-me-barely-missing-m
y-front-bumper-and-then-act-like-they-never-saw-me-even-though-they-just-pas
sed-me as an option, too. Oops. I'm venting, aren't I? Sorry about that.
