The stock unit is either a 48 or 61-amp Mustang/Fairlane. On the avg (?)
Pantera with big radio, A/C and halogen headlights on, in slow speed traffic,
you're probably gonna need 75 or 100 amps, which can be done in the stock
cases. Going to a Chevy 1-wire is easy, popular and allows you to lose the
regulator but is NOT a cure-all. A Nor-Cal guy lost one of these a few weeks
ago to over-revving in the lower gears (6500 rpm?). Watch your pulley ratios
on non-stock hookups..... Cheers- J DeRyke
