To get rid of the bugs use Avon Skin-so-soft (bath oil).  This stuff is a 
miracle worker.  It keeps bugs away, takes bugs and tar/grease off (anything) 
and is a great engine detailer.  I'm not kidding.  I detailed the engine of 
my Impala and it looked like new.  No hard rubbing and off come the bugs, 
tar, grease.  

I don't sell this stuff yada, yada, yada
