Good luck, I've argued with dealers all day long. *** Sigh***
If you haven't, go to Miata.net and read what to look for in a used Miata
and tips on buying a used car. They helped me a LOT today.
There's a 1995 M here with only 18000 miles on it and the Mazda dealer is
asking $14-something for it. $10k sounds like an awesome deal if there's
nothing wrong with it! If someone were selling it that cheap (with the
hardtop, even!) down here, I would worry that something must be wrong with
it, but maybe they are just cheaper up there.
Best of luck!

Subject: 1995 "M" Edition for $10K
I'm going out tomorrow to look at a 1995 "M" 5-speed w/73K miles. It has
been driven in Michigan winters but always garaged. He describes it as "in
perfect condition". Comes with a hardtop. Can anyone give me some tips on
what to look for? I'm a newbie in the Miata world.
It's been serviced at 15, 30, 60 & 73k miles. No timing belt replacement
yet. Oil changed every 5k.
What kind of problems can I expect at this much mileage?
Thanks, Ken
