If all else fails, Robbins boots are readily available from, for instance, Moss Motors, www.mossmotors.com

Heh, paste wax suxx... :-) Seriously though, there are a number of waxing products that will give you the same or better protection as conventional wax, with 5% of the hassle. For my car, I use a wax called Sonax (German, not sure if you have it over there but I'm sure you have something just like it) which feels almost like water. It is applied in a thin layer with a rag/piece of cloth, then left to dry for about a minute or two. The result is a thin coating of white residue which is then polished with your favorite polishing stuff, be it a rag, polishing paper towels. The polishing in itself is not much more than a smooth wiping off the coat, it's nowhere near as rough as paste wax. Going over the whole car takes 20-30 minutes, tops. Since the wax is good quality canauba wax you'll end up with a very good protection with almost no fuss.
