| Subject: | 95 "M" for $9400?????? please help me decide... |

I looked at a 95 "M" saturday. It has 74K miles, 5-spd., looks very clean
but has a lot (thousands) of small paint chips on the front end & mirrors.
New Dunlop tires on 14" 5-spoke aftermarket wheels, nice BBS 15" wheels
included as well as a HT & hoist. It needs rear pads. Not a single dent
anywhere. No timing belt yet. The interior is real nice with a little wear
on left driver side bolster. The owner has NO service records but says he
has had it serviced regularly. The oil was clean.
After reading the FAQ's on checking out a Miata, I didn't find anything to
worry about.
My question is: Is this a good buy at 74K miles knowing I need to spend:
$300 on a timing belt
$750-$1000 re-painting the front end
$50 rear pads
$??? whatever else pops up.
Thanks to all for any feedback. Ken (still no M1)
