While a case could be made for STRONG lightweight wheels...  $500-600 on 
good tires could SAVE YOUR LIFE.  Add a little more for driver training... 

Will's point is well made.  It DOESN'T detract from the value of the 
Valentine 1.  There is a great deal of value to our lives and.... our 
cars...   collision=ca$h every bit as much as a ticket.

Well, spending $400 on a V-1 can save you, oh, $4000 over three years
in insurance and fines.  $2000 on wheels isn't going to save you
$20,000 in a similar fashion, so I'm not sure that the two are
directly comparable.
