Subject:performance suspension - stock height (or higher)

I'm looking to upgrade the suspension on my rallycross miata, but I
don't want to lower the car. I'd like to go to adjustable shocks and
stiffer springs, but I would prefer to stay with the stock spring
diameter. I'd appreciate hearing about your experience if you have
upgraded your suspension without reducing the ride height. Heck, I
wouldn't mind a small increase in ride height. I'm also looking to
upgrade the sway bars, but that should be straight forward. FYI, for
rally the desired setup is basically a soft road racing/autocross
setup with more ground clearance.
