All,

Gap 1 was a blast, 44 cars, and we did everything together, ran the gap,
got kicked out of Cades Cove, picnicked, hung in the parking lot, nighttime
star gazing run....

Gap 2 was fun, 140 cars and we tried to do everything together. But it was
just too many cars.

Gap 3 was a blast again. There were so many cars that everyone knew that to
try and get them all to do something at once was lunacy. So we broke into
tons of small groups who did their own things. Gap runs galore. Everywhere
you went there were small groups of Miatas barreling down back roads.
Beep-Beep, Wave-wave. Even the Lodge parking lot was manageable, sorta.

My wife and I almost didn't go. After the count of cars attending went over
200 we even cancelled our Lodge room. But after reading Scott's blurb on the
gap site we thought what the heck. We found a B & over near Fontanna and
came up. And we are really glad we did. It was just a "different" kind of
fun from the first two.

It don't matter if there are 4, 44, 144, 444 Miatas, all it takes is one
twisty road to mix them all together and viola, instant fun. See you next
year.

364 days to go.
