Hi,

Just found you guys!  Nice to know you're out there!

Here's a really Stupid Human Trick for you:

First bonehead move: I left a disposable lighter in my ashtray.  It's been there
for months and the weather has been pretty hot--much hotter than today was--with
no problem.

However, when I got into my car this afternoon there was my ashtray missing its
top--and ashtray/lighter "smithereens" all over the place!  Apparently the
lighter exploded!  Fortunately the ashtray was clean at the time and by whatever
luck nothing else was damaged or destroyed.  (Phew!)

I am out one ashtray, however, and it's darned unsightly.

I'd spent a fair amount of time tonight searching the net for a replacement for
it (hoping to find as good a price as possible) when I stumbled across this
list!  (So something good has come of "the incident")

Anyway, I searched the archive and found the "Stupid Human Trick" from Dana P.
Henry, who had broken part of the top.

Anyway, anybody got an ashtray out there?  I'll be happy to pay for it.  My
little "Button" car is a '92, red, black interior.

Any help will be greatly appreciated!  Thanks.
