Miata Mailing List: September 1999, Message #314

Well, I hate to leave the list for 10 days, and come home to a
zillion-gillion messages, but vacation time has finally arrived. I'm going
to drive from where I live in SW FL to N Central FL. All by myself..... SIX
LOUSY-STINKING, MIND-NUMBINGLY BORING HOURS.

:p.....

I'm going to visit a good friend of mine who lives in such a small town that
the cockroaches are hunchbacked. I wouldn't be surprised if the "Welcome To"
and the "Just Leaving" sign are on the same piece of wood.  I'm looking
forward to the trip...but not to driving all by my lonesome for six hours. 

The good part is, I will be going to Treasure Is. on the 10th for the
Sizzle, so at least the drive back home will be broken up a bit.

I do have a cellular phone all ready to go, and I've got some good CD's,
even if it's just going to be me, a few lone cars going North on 75 during
the weekday, some semi's , and a bunch of love bugs just itching to become a
permanent part of my car's finish. Got my new wheels and tires just in time
for the occasion,of course, and the oil/fluids have been changed and checked.

I do plan on doing some partying, so if you are at the Sizzle, and you see a
short blonde that's not exactly 100% sober, it's probably me! :). If I am
sober, buy me a drink! :).

See you guys in 10 days, and don't have too much fun without me.
