No personal experience, but I've read that the sensor consists of a
ball which is affixed (magnetically, maybe?) to the aft end of a
channel. Deceleration sufficient to break the bond allows the ball to
travel forward, where it closes a circuit, allowing the bag to
deploy. Perhaps this could be reset, but I wouldn't bet on it. (It
would be fun to play around with a sensor and an ohm-meter, though!)
I'd say replace it, but someone else may know better.
